    Nottingham Lake is back and better than ever this summer! The Avon Recreation Department provides the only open water swim in the valley. It's a perfect way to train for your first (or third) outdoor triathlon. Just be sure to bring a wetsuit - the water can be chilly! • Fee:$5 per person • Check-in at the Avon Preformance Pavilion • Average water temp. is between 60 - 68 degrees, wet suits recommended • Must be 15 years of age with parental release • For your safety - lifeguard staff and distance buoys will be provided

    The Lake Street Market takes place on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer (with no market on July 4). Local vendors will sell fresh produce, local meat and eggs, artisan goods and street food. The event will include a beer garden, with happy hour pricing on beer and wine from 4 - 6 p.m., and community yoga from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. The lettuce patch (kids zone) will entertain the littles, and weekly live music will entertain everyone!
