Is Your Vision 2020?

Avon is taking a hard look at transit and pedestrian needs as part of our Comprehensive Transportation Plan, which is a state-mandated Plan that should be completed in sumer of 2009.  A presentation to Town by Jennifer Strehler, Director of Transportation, on March 10, 2009 evaluated historic transit operational costs and levels of service and offered a vision for where Avon Transit might be in the future.  Potential future routes, operating costs, and capital needs are addressed.  Pedestrian enhancements to link to transit and recreational trails is also included in the funding analysis.
